Internal Inspections

• Complete inspection following API-510 Out-of Service inspection checklist • Thickness reading on shell plates • Thickness reading on heads • Visual inspection with photographs and/or a record of any visible defects • Thickness reading on all accessible nozzles • Magnetic particle test nozzle welds and bottom-to-shell weld (or corner box) if tank is properly prepared • Shell layout drawings • Nozzle layout drawings • Layout of defects • Post inspection meeting to discuss findings • Recommendations and/or observations • Summary of inspection findings • Final formal report
